As the days get shorter and the nights get longer, everything around us is changing, wilting, transitioning. It's hard not to feel that big "yaaaawwwwnn" form as we begin to settle into our cozy warm homes and brace ourselves for the winter ahead. Yet the Word of God states, "wake up, sleeper!" (Ephesians 5:14), drawing those lost in darkness to the everlasting Light. While the inevitable happens and the days become shorter, darker, and gloomier, the hope is that this pressed flower art draws you to the Light found in Jesus Christ alone. For even while we wander aimlessly in the darkness blackened by our sin, He, "who watches over you will not slumber" and is prepared to lead His children in overcoming darkness.

Bible Verse: "He will not let your foot slip - He who watches over you will not slumber"

Psalms 121:3 NIV

WHAT'S INCLUDED: one 11x14 original art piece matted to 8x10, oak frame in walnut included

FLOWER CARE: Real pressed flowers will slowly change over time. A rather disorderly thing decorated every colour of the rainbow, but once that big, shiny star shone brightly from the tippy top, it was the most wondrous sight to be seen (as a 6 year old)?! I DID! This pressed flower Christmas tree is reminiscent of my childhood tree. While I've always loved decorating for Christmas, gaudy or not, this pressed flower tree holds as a reminder of why Christmas is indeed a wonderful time of the year. The Bible doesn't explicitly record the exact date or season of Jesus' birth, yet we can still celebrate the perfect gift God has given the world each and every day.
